About

Sheila May’s is a companion service in Kent for loved ones who need an extra helping hand.

Our story stems from the lady who inspired our name. In her youth, Sheila May Phillips was a free spirit who relished socialising, traveling and living life to the full.

By the time Sheila reached her eighties, she increasingly faced mobility issues which threatened her independence. These changing circumstances inevitably required Sheila’s children to support their mother with odd jobs around the house and to drive her to appointments.

One of whom was Jon Phillips, who along with his partner Maggie Sowe, established Sheila May’s to replicate the flexible assistance and companionship they offered Sheila for others who face a similar situation.

Since the day we opened our doors, Sheila May’s have recognised that each relative is unique and therefore so is our service. Whether it be a hand with the weekly shop or to organise a trip to the coast; our bespoke service is specifically designed to support clients with their individual needs.

Our small and dedicated team strive for excellence in tailor-made companionship and to empower every individual to age gracefully at home. We want to make a difference and to become a part of your extended family.
